Let’s just start out with an overview of pheromones so that you can understand what you’re about to use.  And what pheromones are.  That will give you more of a base to make an educated decision about your product choice.

The word pheromone itself has a Greek origin and it means “carrier of excitement”.  What a great term.  This word was coined back in 1959 by a German biochemist to describe what scientists discovered with this hormone in their experiments.

What is “exciting” about this knowledge is that if this hormone or “smell” could be bottled, think of the implications.  This could be the biggest discovery in the history of man, or at least the history of perfumes, and the history of attraction.

So, do you think pheromones have a smell?  They do not.  This “scent” of the pheromone is picked up by the VNO (the vomeronasal organ).  It is not the nose system.  It is a separate system, an independent system that’s an offshoot of the nasal system.
